Atelier Edgar's creative practice centers on “reinterpreting essence,” grounded in observing the structure of everyday objects and analyzing their forms.
Inspiration stems from the composition of shapes in the surrounding environment, such as diverse forms, natural and artificial textures and the transformation of their inherent functions.
These elements are then reconstructed and translated using leather as the medium.
Geometry serves as the core language within this creative system. Beyond rational deduction, it preserves traces of subjective spiritual sensations and personal emotions.
While emphasizing the constructive nature of form, it consciously presents incompleteness and a handcrafted tactility, ensuring each object retains organic elements. Every piece can be viewed as an outcome of observing daily life.
